6/16/2008		Project Engineer I
			Under broad supervision, performs a variety of project engineering work in planning, application design, logic testing and analysis on microprocessor-based industrial process control systems, combustion products, electrical equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Design and test application logics and cabinet layout of control systems within Federal, state and local codes and regulations, contract specifications, good engineering practices, and HF Controls standards. Develops bills of materials and documentation to include dimensions, part numbers, wiring and assembly diagrams, standard products, logic drawings and graphics, etc. Provides technical advice to other departments such as manufacturing, purchasing, services, sales, marketing and proposals requiring resolution of field, proposal, engineering and manufacturing problems. Checks documentation from drafting to ensure accuracy and completeness in compliance with all relevant codes, standards and specifications. Complies with policies, procedures, standards and rules of the Company. Maintains a working knowledge of new technologies which may improve operations, and develops recommendations accordingly. Education Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering from a four-year university. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic knowledge of Database software; Design software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
